Travel to Italy
Begin your photography adventure to Italy with a flight from Dublin to Verona airport. Upon arrival in Verona you will be met by our local expert guide and transferred to your hotel in Riva del Garda. Surrounded by imposing mountains and sparkling blue water, this town is known for its medieval towers, Renaissance churches, and narrow cobblestone streets.
You will have the remainder of evening free for independent exploration. We recommend exploring the pretty streets of Riva del Garda’s historic centre with its wide range of restaurants, shops and bars. Your local guide will be happy to suggest some places for you to sample traditional cuisine at your leisure. The Bastion, a Venetian fortress, was built on the steep slopes of the nearby Mount Rocchetta and affords a splendid view of the city and the northern part of the lake. Riva’s central square, Piazza III Novembre, is a great spot to settle into your new surroundings with a drink.
