The town of Kitzbuhel, located in the heart of the Alps, is a mecca for those who want to enjoy the great outdoors in the most scenic of settings. In the winter, this famous sports capital is a popular ski resort and in summer, the same ski-lifts and facilities are used by hikers, mountain bike enthusiasts, and tourists who just want to take in the spectacular views. The Austrian Lake District, also known as Salzkammergut, is a region located just outside of Salzburg famous for its incredible mountains, abundance of pristine glacial lakes, and as the setting for the classic film, The Sound of Music. This area is a walker's dream destination, with lush green valleys, sparkling blue waters and dramatic landscapes.

The region of Tyrol stretches across western Austria, and the dramatic mountains that make up this area are known as the Tyrolean Alps. This stunning mountain range offers magnificent views, natural wonders, and quaint Alpine towns like Innsbruck and Kitzbuhel. The region also has a rich cultural heritage, where beloved Alpine traditions are still part of everyday life. Bad Ischl is an Austrian spa town, located in the southern part of Upper Austria near the Salzburg region. The area is renowned as a “gateway” to the beautiful Alpine mountains and impressive lakes of the Salzkammergut region. In your free time, you can take a cable car up Mount Katrin allowing you to see beyond the lake and the surrounding seven lakes of Bad Ischl.
